About the Markov-Chained Garfield

The project is an attempt at creating a Markov Chain of Garfield comic strip panels, based on user feedback on what combinations make a funny comic.

The strip panels are always in the same order they came from in the sources.

• Garkov by Josh Millard. This site uses text generated by a Markov chain (MegaHAL), built upon transcripts of original Garfield strips, and inserts that text into blanked out original Garfield strips. Details about the how-its-done are here.
